  • Benefits and improvements: 
    • Zoom speed control with Blackmagic + ATEM + Canon Cinema EOS Compact Servo (CN-E) lens is now available to Mark I and Blackmagic customers.
    • "Enable camera cache" checkbox in Metabones App is now ignored for Olympus/OM System cameras for correct operation. Olympus/OM System cameras always turn on camera cache regardless of this setting.
    • Fixed excessive pulsation/wobbling with certain lenses during AF-C on G9 Mark II and GH7.
    • Fixed regression of chip mode not working.
    • Mark II and CINE Smart Adapter only: additional IBIS improvement, for both lenses on the TruePDAF Technology list of supported lenses as well as Canon and Sigma Art, Contemporary and Sport lenses not on the list.
    • Mark II and CINE Smart Adapter only: fixed issue where Sigma 8-16mm f4.5-5.6 DC HSM may sometimes failed to show pink LED or load TruePDAF data.
    • Fixed IBIS function with some zoom lenses on applicable Panasonic cameras.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:

Operating Systems

The latest version of the firmware update is compatible with most commonly-used versions of Microsoft Windows:

  • Windows® 10 1809 or newer (64-bit)
  • Windows® 11
  • Windows® 11 on Arm

A micro-USB cable is required to connect the Smart AdapterTM or Speed Booster® to the computer.

While performing the firmware update, don't disconnect the USB cable, otherwise, the adapter may become inoperable due to sudden disconnection. In most cases, an adapter made inoperable by an interrupted firmware update can be fixed by performing the firmware update again.

Don't connect the adapter to any camara or lens while performing the firmware update.
