The inner opening is lined with a flocking material coating. This will further reduce internal reflection, especially when a tilt-shift (TS) lens is used. |
| CINE | CINE Series, Featuring Patented Positive-Lock Mechanism. The CINE version is equipped with an extremely robust cine-style positive-locking mechanism to ensure that no play occurs during manual focusing. This is especially important when using PL/ EF lenses for cinema work. |
| "S" Mark | Adjustable flange focal distance with shims, a set of Lens Adapter Shims included for the PL-lens model. |
| "eND" | Built-in internal electronic ND (Neutral Density) filter system. |
| Speed Booster | Speed Booster® - Focal reducer, a special lens adapter that reduces focal length and increases the effective aperture, allowing more light to reach the sensor and making full‑frame lenses behave more full-frame-like in FOV on smaller APS‑C cameras, or Super35-like in FOV on Micro Four Thirds cameras. Key feature: Make the lens wider, brighter, and sharper. Using high‑index lanthanum glass (Caldwell Photographic design). |
| Expander | Focal expander, a special lens adapter that enlarges the image circle of the used lens to cover a larger-format sensor camera without cropping, such as Fujifilm GFX medium-format cameras. Using high‑index lanthanum glass (Caldwell Photographic design). |
| Smart | Smart AdapterTM/ Smart ExpanderTM is the adapter that includes electronic connections for communication between the lens and the camera. |
